TOEFL Prep Courses in Brussels

Manhattan Review in Brussels provides all of the requisite services for passing scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Brussels students taking the TOEFL can meet the requirements of their degree programs with our on-site TOEFL prep courses, virtual TOEFL classes in online interactive format, TOEFL private tutoring, and TOEFL practice tests. Manhattan Review is a global test prep company that has taught thousands of international students how to successfully prepare for the TOEFL scores mandated by their preferred post-secondary institutions, and we have been leading the industry in test prep innovation since we were founded in 1999. Our TOEFL learning plans are taught by the most qualified TOEFL educators available in Brussels, who are thoroughly trained in our original instructional methodologies and unique course materials. Manhattan Review's TOEFL prep options combine effectiveness and efficiency to produce high TOEFL scores within an eminently reasonable amount of time.

TOEFL scores can affect an international student's eligibility for scholarships or teaching assistantships. For example, Towson University offers International Student Scholarships of $8,000 per year for new undergraduate applicants with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and a TOEFL score of at least 77. Oklahoma City University provides a Master of Arts in TESOL Scholarship for students wishing to study the teaching of English as a second language. Qualifying criteria include a 3.0 GPA and a TOEFL score of 100. TOEFL standards for teaching assistantships are usually higher than they are for graduate admission. The University of South Florida requires all of its graduate teaching assistants to score at least 26 on the speaking section of the TOEFL (the general graduate admission requirement at USF is a composite TOEFL score of 79, which could theoretically include a much lower TOEFL speaking score). Graduate admission at the University of New Orleans can be secured with a TOEFL composite score of 79, but teaching assistants must produce composite TOEFL scores of at least 100. Students preparing for the TOEFL are encouraged to research available scholarships and assistantships and determine the necessary TOEFL scores.

Students who have taken Manhattan Review's TOEFL prep courses and private tutoring plans are regularly accepted to highly-ranked universities. Our TOEFL clients have entered and completed undergraduate and graduate degree programs at Stanford, Harvard, Brown, Princeton, MIT, CalTech, Dartmouth, the University of Chicago, the University of Pennsylvania, Vanderbilt, Boston University, Georgetown, the University of Michigan, and other schools at the top of the national and worldwide rankings. These students have also succeeded professionally, either in the United States or in their countries of origin. Manhattan Review's past TOEFL students have been hired by Fortune 500 companies and firms in Brussels, including Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Dow Chemical, NWave Pictures, Roularta Media Group, and Umicore. With Manhattan Review's TOEFL services in Brussels, you can get accepted to an outstanding degree program and later start a prosperous career.

Meet a Brussels TOEFL Tutor: Dmitri T.

Dmitri T. holds a bachelor's degree in liberal studies from Georgetown University and a master's degree in TESOL from American University. Born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, he has been teaching TOEFL prep and English as a second language for seven years. He has been living in Brussels since 2014.

Dmitri constantly reminds his students of the many benefits of English-language skills. "My TOEFL students expect me to first and foremost help them pass the test," he says. "I make them aware that knowledge of the English language also gives them access to the international language of business and almost limitless products of culture, such as music, film, and literature."
